Please note that this position is for full-time and PhD students only! Description We are looking for an intern for the Performance and Productivity Libraries QA team (PPL QA). In this position you would have the opportunity to learn the Intelproducts which we work on, the related business processes, and gain the great experience at the leading high-tech company. The PPL QA team is responsible for ensuring product-class quality and competitive performance for the Intel Math Kernel Library (MKL) and for the new research project known as Ct (C for throughput computing). This job assumes testing, and developing and maintaining the test tools for MKL and Ct, including test bases and test automation tools. Intel Math Kernel Library (Intel MKL) offers highly optimized math routines for scientific, engineering, and financial applications that require maximum performance. Ct would provide optimized C++ classes for data-parallel high-performance computations at multi-core processors. Qualifications You should be a university student at your 3rd year at least or a Ph.D. student in Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field. Additional qualifications include: scientific interests in high performance and/or data parallel computations - Understanding of object-oriented software design - Knowledge of C, C++ and FORTRAN (more languages would be a plus) - Ability to work within a team |
